Nehemiah was born with sickle cell anemia nine years ago. He and his family travel over 200 miles every 2-3 weeks so he can have regular blood transfusions. His condition is chronic - he will most likely be making monthly hospital visits his whole life.
For Nehemiah’s parents, Ronald McDonald House Charities eases the burden of life-long treatment with low-cost lodging and friendly, encouraging staff & volunteers. They can have a routine in their lives and focus on their children instead of worrying about hotel expenses and meal planning.
“We love the Ronald McDonald House. Thank you for making our family transition easier as we travel every few weeks.” ~Nehemiah’s Mom
