Mission Statement
We support the children, families, staff, volunteers and donors of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kansas City. Our mission is to engage, empower, and inspire professionals to participate in philanthropic and leadership endeavors and build awareness of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kansas City.

Membership Requirements

  • Membership Fee – Regular Membership for one $120 – or $10 a month, Household Membership for two $180 – or $15 a month
  • Attend Red Shoe Society events and help spread the word about the mission

How You Can Get Involved
While there will be plenty of events and volunteer opportunities to get involved throughout the year, we are also looking for volunteers to serve on our committees. If you are interested in helping on a committee, email us at redshoesociety@rmhckc.org.

March 23 – March Dinner at Children’s Mercy
Red Shoe board member Rachel Hodgson hosts dinner at the Ronald McDonald Family Room in March, and she’s loving any help! RSVP here. Rachel will take care of the menu, coordinate who brings what, and help you support the families of sick kids while they’re staying close to their little ones. March 28 – Wild Hearts Paint Night
Join The Red Shoe Society for some fun at The Wild Hearts Paint Night Thursday, March 28 th at the Wylie House, 2502 Cherry St., Kansas City, MO 64108.
Committee members arrive at 6:00 p.m. for set up. Event starts at 6:30p.m. Committee members please bring a snack to share and newspaper.
All Red Shoe Society members and friends are welcome. If you are interested in painting, please sign up here and consider bringing an item from the houses’ wish list as a donation. Coffee, disposable coffee cups, breakfast bars, breakfast cereal and boxed gloves (non-latex) are a few of the items currently at the top of the list.

March 31 & April 1 Wild West Antiques & Garden Show
If you’re into antiques and gardening, the Wild West Vintage Antiques and Garden show on March 31 & April 1 is for you! The event will be held at the American Royal and proceeds from Friday’s auction will benefit RMHC-KC. Get your tickets to the event by clicking the button here.

April 6 Great Comedy Great Causes
Join Red Shoe Society board member Jake Jacobson on April 6 at Comedy City as he hosts a night of standup comedy headlined by local cancer survivor Tim Grimes, whose story is being chronicled in the movie “Not Going Anywhere,” and five-time national boxing champion Cam F. Awesome. Tickets include a free Chipotle buffet, and all proceeds benefit Ronald McDonald House, Hope Lodge and Jake’s fundraising for the BMA Foundation’s Dine & Dance With The Stars. April 22 Pull A Plane
Get your co-workers, friends, and family involved in giving back to Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kansas City by joining the Red Shoe Society team for Pull A Plane! All proceeds benefit the families of RMHC and directly support keeping families close. On the day of the event, we’ll take a turn to see how fast we can pull a massive FedEx Airplane 12 feet. The theme this year is Superhero, so we’ll be donning masks, but don’t worry, we’ll provide those.

July 24 – Web.com Digital Ally Open
With the New Year upon us, please consider a year end donation to RMHC.  You can give the gift of golf and 100% of your ground ticket purchase to the Digital Ally Open Web.com TOUR professional golf tournament at Nicklaus Golf Club the week of July 24, 2017 benefits RMHC!
Grounds passes start at just $10 and a weekly pass is $25.  Golf fans can join the crowd of over 30,000 people expected tournament week!  The 2016 tournament champion was awarded his PGA card right on the Nicklaus Golf course and went on to the PGA Tour the very next week.
