McDonald’s Role in Our Charity
Ronald McDonald House Charities relies on a broad base of community support, with McDonald's as our most long-standing advocate. Locally, McDonald's support totals 18% of Ronald McDonald House Charities' annual budget with the remaining coming from the generous Kansas City community and beyond.
Besides McDonald's leadership in establishing Kansas City's Houses and Family Room in The Children's Mercy Hospital, they:
- Provide fundraising partnerships in their restaurants (e.g., World Children's Day and Give a Little Love)
- Help sponsor our special events (e.g., Red Shoe Shindig Auction, Golf Tournament, and Plaza Pzazz)
- Lend resources and expertise to help accomplish our mission
The dedication and volunteer heritage of the McDonald's family is an important part of our work for children and their families.
