Give a Little Love Fund
Our Houses and Family Room provide a warm, caring environment in which families can rest and regroup to support their child's healing. The trauma of a serious illness or injury shakes a child's world, impacting all those around the child. Adding to the family's stress felt from the illness or injury are worries over medical decisions and prolonged medical treatment, being away from home and the family's support system, and financial concerns.
One way we help stressed families is through our Give a Little Love Fund. Although it costs $60 to provide a room for one night, guest families are asked to contribute only $10 per night. But families pay only what they can afford. The average amount collected from families is $7.15 per night due to mounting medical bills and other financial issues.
At any given night, we may serve up to 67 families. The Give a Little Love Fund helps close the financial gap between the amount our families are asked to contribute and what they are actually able to pay by making up the difference. Because of friends like you, our guest families will not have to worry about their inability to pay for their stay.
