Ronald McDonald House Charities is a “Home Away From Home” for families whose children are being treated in the Kansas City area for a serious illness or injury.
Families must be referred by a social worker or nurse in order to stay at the Ronald McDonald House. Families living 35 miles or more outside of Kansas City have top priority to stay at the Ronald McDonald Houses.
Any family members or guests of an in-patient child at The Children’s Mercy Hospital are eligible to use the Ronald McDonald Family Room inside Children’s Mercy.
